Oh, how I can relate... It's the craziest thing... Introverts struggle for years thinking something is wrong with them; try as they may to be social and not isolate themselves. It's even more challenging when you date or marry someone who is an extrovert. Introverts get filled up by reflection ( quiet time) and extroverts get filled up by people. As I got older, I finally found my voice and will say, "no thank you" to certain events, aka social gatherings. This is a great article for those introverts out there trying to land in their soft spot.
